Jessica and Carlos are Married!

Imagine walking through the streets of Florence and you happen to see a familiar face. You figure she's just a look-alike because how crazy would that be to see a hometown face all the way in Italy. Until you get closer and you realize it IS the person you're thinking of, and your jaw drops. That's how it went when I spotted Jessica. She was studying abroad, and I was backpacking across Europe. Little did I know at that chance meeting on another continent that she would choose us to photograph her wedding 7 years later.

As I've mentioned before, Jessica is the little sister of David Factor, one of our BFFs. We love their family so much. I can't even express how honored and happy we were to be able to document this huge event in their lives.

Their entire day was filled with smiles and laughter (and sweat - it was a hot one! :) Jessica was calm and collected as she was getting ready to see Carlos for the first time that day. And from what Drew told me, Carlos had the same demeanor. There wasn't any anxiety - they both knew that this is what they've wanted for their entire lives - it was just easy. After the ceremony, their faces beamed with happiness, and that positive energy spilled over onto the guests, making it one amazing night of dancing and celebration. It was a beautiful sight. Jess and Carlos - thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day...love to you both!

Yay! These are great. It was so fun having you guys there. You did an awesome job despite the heat, the starving, me forgetting my suit at home and Drew picking it up, and working with our crazy family. Love the square dancing shot. :-)
